I am using fusion 360 so i can switch from hobby to business. I am learning from scratch. I made my own machine 1 year ago because of Fusion 360 CADCAM software. i wanted to go from 3 axis to 4 but thought learn 3 axis first. i wanted to add probe, i even thought about tool changing. Now i cannot learn 4 axis,add probe or tool change with your software. i cannot afford as a hobbyist your prices, i still have so much to learn with Fusion 360. Thanks you for shutting those doors. It is crazy you have all my files you know already i am not making product for business. Very bad day for me indeed and short sighted.of you as a company.
You peple realize this is not extensivly pirated because it was free to use for personal and educational use right?This will be the new number one target to pirate from now i would suspect. And downloads of it will skyrocket in the coming months.. Hilarious decision..
Almost quit fusion on the first round of feature stripping, this round make the decision super easy. Myself and some friends have already installed solidworks since the news came out. Being retired and a hobby user, removing 4th axis capability, simulation, G0 etc makes this a mandatory departing. Good news is solidworks seems pretty easy to use after learning fusion. Solidworks with more features than fusion only cost me a $40 EAA membership ! No brainer decision ! All this not to mention Fusion violated our trust twice SO FAR, more to surely follow.
